How does the Code Qube work?
We supply the Code Qube
The Code Qube will be delivered at your location. We make sure that all the items you need for a successful workshop are available.
We supervise the first training session
Getting started is difficult, which is why we supervise the free first training session to teach the principles of coding correctly.
We train professional programmers
After the complete curriculum of five training sessions, all participants will be able to build an actual website using HTML and CSS.
Why the Code Qube?
21st Century Skills
The Code Qube has been developed on the basis of the 21st century skills. During the course, we’ll pay a lot of attention to cooperation and creative thinking, among other things.
Training program based on repetition
A special training program has been designed for the Code Qube. This program is structured, by means of an iterative process: seeing, recognising and applying.
Use of HTML & CSS
The Code Qube is unique in making use of programming languages HTML & CSS. Children learn to build their own website using these programming languages

Fresh and strong idea, useful and concrete. Collaborative learning. Problem being addressed is clear. Good solution, accessible for teachers. Collaboration with CoderDojo makes it scalable. Nice to see how working physically and programming are brought together. Good to see that both the business model and the roll-out of the plan have been carefully considered.

Wow! A real treat to see the Code Qube in action.
The 80 teachers I worked with had a blast, they thought it was a fantastic experience and have learned a lot from it.
Gerrie van de Kerkhof, teacher at Angelaschool group 7
I really like this concept, because it is based on collaboration, creativity and deeper learning. The students were very enthusiastic. They felt that they really learned something new!
Christian Vermeulen, Founder of CoderDojo Nederland
The Code Qube is a brilliant tool to introduce HTML and CSS to children . With the Code Qube, children not only learn how websites are built, they are also encouraged to work together. To an organisation like CoderDojo, this is very important! Thanks to the Code Qube, we can now show children how to make their own website, and at the same time the children get to know each other. We already see many cool new projects arise from it.
Ruben Eertink, teacher training student Saxion Enschede
Even a few twenty-year-old teacher training students have the greatest fun in taking the Code Qube lessons, so imagine how it will be with pupils in elementary school. In addition, the Code Qube perfectly matches the 21th century skills that are increasingly important on primary schools in the Netherlands. It is recommendable for every school, and I think that every primary school in the Netherlands should get to know the Code Qube.
Gerrit de Jong, teacher at Angelaschool group 8
I thought the code Qube was very good, and would like to work with it! The students were impressed by the new language. They realised it can be both a difficult and a fun challenge.
